POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to provide high volume benefit administration and analytics support within our Human Resource department. This position will oversee benefit administration for over 1000 team members Nationwide, including ownership of our HRIS and EDI benefits processes. The ideal candidate will be people centric, have an ALL IN attitude, analytical, and can handle a high volume of processes and procedures pertaining to medical benefit administration within a corporate environment
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides benefit support to over 1000+ team members nationwide including, general questions, deductible and benefit bill and EOB support, QLE, support orders, etc.
  • Administers all company provided benefits within the HRIS system
  • Oversees and maintains EDI mappings from HRIS system to provider portals
  • Review weekly files transmissions ensuring all new hires, changes, terms have been processed accurately and timely
  • Support the HR department during open enrollment by providing pre and post enrollment file feed instructions and management ensuring clean files are transmitted to carriers
  • Creates and maintains all benefit summaries, open enrollment packets, contact information, etc.
  • Conduct monthly benefit audits for all carriers and all companies ensuring enrollments are correct and cost is in the line with contracts
  • Build relationships with 3rd party vendors and benefit providers to problem solve EDI or election issues timely
  • Ensures all benefit compliance notices are posted and creates documents for employee portals regularly
  • Perform other duties as requested

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 
  • 1+ year of benefit administration experience supporting a mid-sized organization required  
  • Extensive HRIS and electronic file feed experience required 
  • Construction industry experience a plus  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
