Inspired Solutions, Inc. is rapidly growing and is looking to add an experienced and motivated Integrated Lab Technician (Supervisor) to join the team, at a Logistics Integration Facility in Edwardsville, IL. Responsible for preparing prospective new employees to transition into full-time employees. This position will quickly and accurately respond to customer requirements and requests including, but not limited to, coaching, training and mentoring new employees arriving in the program. The ideal candidate will have excellent people and communication skills, be self- motivated, and driven to be and do their best.  

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Train new personnel to prepare technological products for delivery to customers. Assist with development of instructional materials that support the Program. 
  • Acquire and maintain requisite technical skills to accurately diagnose and resolve problems and concerns associated with assigned technical equipment. 
  • Ability to assign hardcopy operational, procedural, and informational documentation sets for equipment standards, configuration, inventory, troubleshooting, and repair procedures. 
  • Ability to possess the ability to inspect telecommunications devices and parts.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new personnel upon arrival at the L.I.F. as follows: by assignment of responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to the established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe manner and with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure quality records are maintained and the lab-certified product is quality compliant. 
  • Effectively collaborate with the Program Manager, Material Operations and Logistics personnel to support established business and continued training for new Lab Technicians. 
  • Complete weekly lab Technician assessments and testing, as needed, to include individual development plans and short-term goals. 
  • Proactively provide detailed management reports unique to Inspired Solutions and the customer. 
  • Maintain compliance with Safety, ISO and TL9000 requirements per customer request. Other tasks as requested.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
  • This position operates out of corporate headquarters in an office environment, located at Logistics Integration Facility in Edwardsville, IL.  
  • Limited exposure to excessive noise, dust and fumes 
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally 
  • Regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the information technology industry
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in communications or business. 
  • Four to six years directly related experience in the telecommunications space and/or as a Program Manager. 
  • Must possess a valid government issue driver’s license. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
